What's new in v1.7:
* Added FAAC and removed aacenc_mpeg4.
* Added more MP4Creator options. Use the version included in this zip-file. It is modified by Enrico Palmeri. Other versions might not work with the frontend.
* In Windows 2000 and XP win2dos.exe is no longer needed (codepage 1252 is used).
* If the output directory doesn't exist it is created.
* Some small improvements you'll probably won't notice.

What's new in v1.6.2:
* Some warnings in case of wrong usage.

What's new in v1.6.1:
* With the Convert button you can now also extract the AAC files from MP4 files.

What's new in v1.6:
* It's now possible to encode WAV files to AAC and convert them to MP4 with MP4Creator in one step.
* There's a Convert button to convert AAC files to MP4 with MP4Creator.
* Possibility to use options with the FAAD decoder.

Installation:

- Unzip into the directory where you keep aacenc.exe, fastenc.exe, faac.exe and/or faad.exe
- Run Ivan & Menno.exe.

Error:

- If you get an error when you try to run Ivan & Menno you probably need the Visual Basic 6 Runtime files. Get it here: http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp5/WIN98Me/EN-US/vbrun60sp5.exe
- If you have not installed any Microsoft Office product Windows will probably ask for the file mscomctl.ocx. You can get it here:
http://home.wanadoo.nl/~w.speek/download/MSCOMCTL.ZIP

Usage:

- Drag and drop files from Windows Explorer into the Ivan & Menno window or press the "Add files" button and put files on the list with the "Open" dialog.
- Select a preset command line or write your own.
- Select an output directory. If you leave the output directory box empty, the output files will be put in the same directory as the input files are in. If the output directory doesn't exist it will be created.
- Press "Encode" to encode wav files to aac or mp4, "Decode" to decode aac or mp4 files to wav files or "Convert" to convert aac files to mp4 files or vice versa.
- Note that all that Ivan & Menno does is create and execute a batch file. This is done on the moment you press the Encode / Decode / Convert button. So after that you can safely exit Ivan & Menno.

Presets:

- Save a command line by pushing the + button
- Remove a command line from the presets by selecting it and pushing the - button
- Alternatively you can edit the file presets.cfg with Notepad (presetsdec.cfg for FAAD presets).

MP4Creator:

Some options are used that are only available in the mp4creator version that is modified by Enrico Palmeri, like "-mpeg-version=4". This version is included in the zip-file.

The option "Convert: Old AAC format to MP4" refers to files created with aacenc_mpeg4 (and maybe an old FAAC version using the -m4 switch). Those files have 58 bit ADTS headers which are not valid anymore. If you convert them with this switch they can be played in most modern players.
